Das hier angebotene Gemälde wird in den Marquet Digital Catalogue Raisonné inkludiert, welches gerade vom Wildenstein Plattner Institute erarbeitet wird.

Das 1928 während Marquets Aufenthalt entstandene Gemälde zeigt den Hafen der französichen, in der Bretagne gelegenen Gemeinde mit am Kai liegenden Reusen und dort arbeitenden Personen. Wie ineinander geschobene Trapeze erfasst Marquet die Fläche des Meeres und verbindet den Vordergrund geschickt mit den sich hinter dem Hafenbecken abzeichnenden Häusern mittels einer hohen Laterne.
