Die junge Frau als klassisches Kniestück in einem prächtigen Interieur mit Draperie, einem Stuhl und einem mit einem Teppich bedeckten Tisch wiedergegeben. Der Blick ruht in sich gekehrt, Frisur und Kleidung sind ganz dem Biedermeier verpflichtet, wie auch der Schmuck.
