In einem Innenraum auf einem blauen Seidenkissen sitzend, den Rücken dabei an eine weiße, mit farbigem Streifen versehene Wand gelehnt, ein Berber in orientalischem Gewand, aus dem die Griffe zweier Dolche herausragen, und mit weißem Turban. Seine nackten Füße auf einem roten gemusterten Teppich, auf dem neben ihm ein eckiger Holztisch steht. Auf dessen Platte eine gläserne Henkelkanne und eine Tasse. Das Licht fällt aus unbekannter Quelle von links oben herab und wirft leichte Schatten. Feine Malerei, dabei die Stoffe besonders herausgearbeitet. (1240119) (18)
