DIE SCHLEUSE VON OPTEVOZ IN BARBIZON Breitformatiges Landschaftsbild, mit Darstellung einer kleinen grasbewachsenen, felsigen Anhöhe mit Baumbestand. Im Vordergrund ein Bachlauf, an dem zwei Rinder stehen. Links am Wiesenhang eine Kuhhirtin. Im Zentrum öffnet sich der Felsen zu einer Quellhöhle, daneben ein Schleusentor. Wolkiger blauer Himmel. Das Gemälde in der typischen Malart der "Schule von Barbizon". Links unten sign. und dat. (18)82. In der linken Ecke auf dem Gemälde alter Galerie-Klebezettel mit Inventarnummer "562". Öl/Lwd. 82 x 132,5 cm. (402229)
