Linksseitig hinter den hohen Dünen liegend das Dorf mit dem charakteristischen Turm der Oude Kerk. Der breite Strand zieht sich von der rechten Seite vom Vordergrund in die Ferne und wird belebt durch zahlreiche Figuren, darunter Fischer, Frauen, vereinzelt Kinder. Im linken Vordergrund, an den grasigen Dünenhügeln einige Figuren mit Tragekörben auf den Schultern. Vielfigurige Darstellung unter hohem blauem, von Wolkenballen belebten Himmel.
