Der Teller mit geometrischem Dekor von stilisierten Blättern und Früchten. Im Zentrum ein stilisiertes Wappen mit umlaufendem Strahlendekor. Ockere Lüsterglasur auf cremefarbenem Fond. Das Wappen mit Blau. Die feinen Linien der Fruchtstängel ebenfalls in Blau.

Randbestoßungen und Abplatzungen auf der Rückseite des Tellers.

A Maiolica Plate
Diameter: 24.5 cm.
Deruta, first third of the 16th century.

The plate is decorated with a geometric design of stylized foliage and fruit. In the middle is a stylized coat of arms with a decoration of rays around it. The plate has an ochre lustrous enamel on a cream colored fond. The coat of arms with blue color. The fine lines of the fruit stems are also in blue. Condition: rim chips and spallings on the back of the plate.
