Weißer Marmor mit Ormoludekoration. Die dreiteilige Garnitur auf hohen Eichelfüßen stehend mit gestufter Basis und Ormolurelief. Mittelpart mit bruniertem Amorknaben und verglastem Uhrengehäuse. Die Seitenelemente mit vierflammigen Leuchtern mit brüniertem Putto. (†)
Anmerkung:
Charles Gabriel Sauvage Lemire (1741-1827) wurde als Sohn eines Bronzehandwerkers geboren und begann seine Karriere 1759 in einer Werkstatt in Niderviller, wo er 1781 Direktor der Manufaktur wurde. Seit 1802 arbeitete Lemire in Paris und arbeitete für die Skulpturenmanufaktur Dihl und Guérhard. Er stellte seine Werke von 1808-1819 in den Pariser Galerien aus.
Werke aus Lemires Hand sind zu finden im Musée de Tours, Musée de Marseille und Musée historique de Lorraine à Nancy. (12200318) (13)
