Von erhöhtem Standpunkt führt ein breiter Weg zwischen Weinbergen zum Ufer des Sees nach unten. Auf dem Weg eine Frau mit ihrem Sohn und am Rand ein Wagen mit einem großen Holzfass und einem dahinterstehenden Schimmel. In der Ferne die am Ufer des Genfer Sees liegende Stadt Montreux vor hoher Gebirgskulisse, die sich teils im ruhigen Wasser des Sees wiederspiegelt. Harmonische Landschaftswiedergabe mit hellblauem, teils gelblich schimmernden Himmel, im Licht der mittäglichen Sonne. Rest., Retuschen. (1251724) (1) (18)
