Bemalung in Türkisgrün, Gelb, Orange, Schwarz, Weiß, Blau und Braun. Auf der Unterseite in Blau beschriftet "sileno". Durchgebrochen und rest. mit Übermalungen entlang der Bruchlinien. Einige rest. Chips am Rand, weitere kleine Chips. (891331)

Diameter: 23 cm.
Duchy of Urbino, mid 16th century.
Labeled "sileno" on the bottom in blue.
Broken and restored with overpainting along the crack. A few restored chips on the rim, further small chips.
Note:
The theme was borrowed from Marcantonio Raimondi's "two satyrs putting Silen on a braying donkey".
