Fein gemaltes, in der Farbigkeit sowie in der Beleuchtung differenzierendes Landschaftsbild mit rechts hochziehenden Bäumen, der vordere Baum in herbstlichem Laub sowie links hochsteigenden Felsen, die zwischen den Gipfeln eine Burg erkennen lassen mit hinaufziehendem Hohlweg. Im Zentrum des Bildes eine dreistufige Kaskade eines Wasserlaufs, über den eine hohe, gemauerte Bogenbrücke führt. Im Hintergrund in hellem Licht stehende Burg auf einer Anhöhe. Im Vordergrund reiche Figurenstaffage mit Jägern und Jagdgehilfen, die mit einer Hundemeute einen Hirsch zum Wasser getrieben haben. In der linken Bildecke zwei Reiter vor einer Bogenbrücke. (821728)
