Halbportrait nach rechts mit lebendigem Gesichtsausdruck und nach rechts deutendem Zeigefinger. Bei dem Gemälde dürfte es sich um das Portrait eines Schauspielers im Pierotkostüm handeln, vergleichbar mit dem bekannten Piero-Portrait von Watteau, genannt „Gilles" (1718 - 1719, heute im Louvre). Auffallend ist auch die physiognomische Ähnlichkeit mit dem Pierot von Watteau, einer Figur der italienischen Komödie. Miniatur auf Elfenbein. Im vergoldeten Holzrahmen. (7903610)
