DER JUNGE KESSELFLICKER In einer Dorfstraße sitzt ein junger Kesselflicker neben einem Schleifstein bei seiner Arbeit. Neben ihm einige Wannen und Metallgefäße. Er ist umgeben von der Dorfjugend, drei Buben und einem Mädchen, das Strickzeug in der Hand hält. Weiter rechts eine Mutter mit drei Kindern von denen ein Knabe dem Mädchen am Zopf zieht. Auf dem steinigen Weg ein Dackel und Gänse. Im Hintergrund schindelgedeckte Häuser sowie ein Ziehbrunnen. Öl/Lwd. Links unten signiert. 199 x 128 cm. Eindrucksvolle Schilderung des dörflichen Lebens im 19. Jhdt. Das Bild ist äußerst aussagekräftig für das Oeuvre des Künstlers, der sich mit ähnlichen Genreszenen bekannt bemacht hat. (442121)
