Die zwei Gegenstücke zeigen je eine dörfliche Szene. Der Hintergrund des einen Bildes ist gänzlich mit von Pflanzen und Bäumen überwucherter Architektur versehen. Im Vordergrund sind einige rastende Staffagefiguren zu sehen. Über den Himmel ziehen dramatische, stark beleuchtete Wolkenformationen. Das andere Bild zeigt eine gestaffelte Architektur mit hohen Durchgängen, auch hier rasten am Fuße einer Treppe einige Figuren. Zur Rechten ist ein Ausblick in eine weite, beinahe liebliche Landschaft möglich. (1370472) (19)
