Blick auf eine Stadt mit großer Hafenanlage und hohem Leuchtturm, vor der im ruhigen Wasser zwei große Segelschiffe unter hohem, hellblauem Himmel ankern. Im Vordergrund ein Uferstück, auf dem Fässer und verschnürte Pakete abgestellt sind, über die mehrere Figuren gerade verhandeln, darunter auch ein Mann in einem orientalischen Gewand mit weißem Turban. Die Sonne bestrahlt die Szenerie von rechts und wirft teils große Schatten auf das Ufer und die See. Harmonische Malerei in reduzierter Farbigkeit. Teils Retuschen, kleinere Rahmenschäden.
