Fein ausgeführte, als Gegenstücke gearbeitete Gemälde, jeweils ein unbekleidetes Kind in natürlicher Umgebung bzw. in einem rot verhangenen Innenraum zeigend. Das eine steht und hält eine Waage und einen Apfel, während die neben ihm lagernden Bücher auf die Gelehrsamkeit des Abwägenden hindeuten. Das andere Kind sitzt anmutig auf einem blauem Kissen neben einer manieristischen Vase mit Lilien und einem Liebesbrief,den er zu den Lippen führt. Rest.
