Vier Männer sind in einer Rauferei zusammengeraten, wobei zwei Frauen versuchen, den Kampf zu beschwichtigen. Als Waffen dienen hier ein großer Tonkrug, Dreschflegel sowie Mistgabel. Four men are engaged in a brawl using a large clay jug, a flail and a pitchfork as weapons, while two women are trying to stop the fight. Another man in the left of the background is approaching, bravely trying to intervene. The scene is set in a village street with a group of thatched houses and further staffage figures.
