In der gemalten Rahmung am Unterrand Titelbezeichnung in einer Kartusche.
Feines Aubusson-Gewebe, Bordüre und Bilddarstellung gemalt, in hoher künstlerischer Qualität, wohl nach einem Gemäldevorbild Frankreichs aus dem 18. Jahrhundert. Szene aus der biblischen Esterlegende, wonach Mordechai, der Onkel der Ester, nach aufgeklärtem Komplott des verbrecherischen Ministers Haman gegen den persischen König im Triumph in die Stadt einzieht. Die Szene mehrfigurig, Mordechai bärtig auf einem Schimmel reitend, mit einem Ausrufer, der dem Zug voranschreitet. Seitlich zahlreiche huldigende Figuren, im Hintergrund persische Palastarchitektur.
