DIE KINDER CHARLES DES I. VON ENGLAND (1600 - 1649) Kopiert nach dem in der Royal-Collection in Windsor-Castle befindlichen Gemälde. Dargestellt die drei älteren Kinder König Charles von Großbritannien und Irland: Charles der II. geb. 1630, Mary geb. 1631 und Elisabeth 1635. Der königliche Knabe legt seine Hand auf den Kopf seines übergroßen Neufundländer-Hundes. Zu Füßen des vom Schwesterchen gehaltenen Kleinkindes ein weiter kleiner Hund. Im Hintergrund Sockel mit Kanne und Fruchtschale. Die Kopie beschränkt sich auf drei der Kinder, während im Original zwei weitere Töchter linksstehend wiedergegeben sind. Öl/ Lwd. 147 x 163 cm.
