Ein zeltartiger altrosa Baldachin überspannt eine Bettstatt auf der die entblöste Venus in manierierter Weise sitzt, neben ihr der gehartnischte Mars. Parallel dazu wird im hinteren Bereich im Zeltinneren erzählt, wie das Liebespaar von Vulkan überrascht wird. Schöne noch sehr dem Manierismus verpflichtete Darstellung des mythologischen Themas.
