Blick vom Ufer über das Hafenbecken mit anliegenden Gondeln und Schiffen hinweg auf die rechte Hafenlandzunge, darauf eine Renaissance-Kuppelkirche mit hohem Pilasterrisalit und Dreiecksgiebel, auf dem Hauptgesims Figuren und Vasen, die Kuppel achteckig mit hochziehender Laterne. Davor ein Hafentor mit Rundbogen über Rundsäulen sowie darübergesetzten Wappen und Figurenfries. Im Hintergrund setzt sich die Hafenbebauung bis zu einer Festung mit hohem Turm am Horizont fort. Links ziehen größere Schiffe herein, kleinere Boote sind bereits an der Einfahrt zum Hafenbecken. Im Vordergrund an einer Steintreppe anliegend eine Gondel mit überdachter Sitzkabine, am Ufer mehrere Figuren. Bewegter Wolkenhimmel mit theatralischer Beleuchtung von links oben. Gegenstück zu dem ebenfalls in der Auktion angebotenen, signiertenWerk von Storck (Hafen mit Obelisk). (971431)
