Christian Megert ist ein Schweizer Bildhauer, Objekt- und Kinetikkünstler. Von 1952-1955 besuchte er die Kunstgewerbeschule in Bern und unternahm von 1956-1960 ausgedehnte Studienreisen, wo er jeweils Kurse an den dortigen Kunstgewerbeschulen belegte. 1973 zog er nach Düsseldorf, wo er von 1976-2002 als Professor am Lehrstuhl für Integration, Bildender Kunst und Architektur lehrte. Seine erste Ausstellung hatte er 1956 in Bern, dafür schuf er monochrome Material- und Strukturbilder sowie Plastiken aus Eisen und Kunstharz. Zudem hatte er einige Ausstellungen zusammen mit der Gruppe ZERO. (1371392) (18)
