Große Figur des stehenden Buddha in grauem Kalkstein. Die linke Hand in varamudra, der Haltung der Wohltätigkeit, die Rechte (fehlt) wohl in abhayamudra, der Geste der Zuversicht. Lose drapiertes Gewand, reichlich Körperschmuck. Gelassener Gesichtsausdruck mit halbgeschlossenen Augen. Kopf von einem Nimbus umgeben. Auffallend umfangreiche Reste der vielfarbigen Bemalung vorhanden. Montierung auf Eisensockel. Besch., Alterssp. (107141154) (15)

Large sculpture of a standing Buddha in grey limestone. The left hand in varadamudra, the gesture of benefaction, the right (missing) probably in abhayamudra, the gesture of fearlessness. Loosely draped garment and rich body jewellery. Calm facial expression with half-closed eyes. Head surrounded by a halo. Noticeable substantial remains of polychromy. Mounting on iron pedestal. Blemished and signs of ageing.
