Der hier angebotene Ammolit erstrahlt in allen Farben des Regenbogens und gehört zu den seltensten Edelsteinen. Seine Entstehung ist einem einzigartigen geologischen Prozess zu verdanken, der sich bei der Versteinerung eines Ammoniten vollzieht und ist nur in Alberta, nordöstlich der Rocky Mountains zu finden. Nach dem altägyptischen Gott des Lebens und der Fortpflanzung, der für seine Widderhörner bekannt war, werden Ammoniten seit Tausenden von Jahren von Kulturen auf der ganzen Welt geschätzt. Ammoniten sind ausgestorbene Kopffüßer, die ebenso schön wie wichtig für die Erforschung von Geologie und Paläontologie sind. Zu den am meisten geschätzten Ammoniten gehören die Ammolit-Ammoniten. The ammolite on offer for sale in this lot gleams in all colours of the rainbow and is one of the rarest gemstones. Its formation is due to a unique geological process that occurs when an ammonite fossilizes and is found only in Alberta, northeast of the Rocky Mountains.
