Dieter Krieg studierte 1958 - 1962 an der Kunstakademie in Karlsruhe bei HAP Grieshaber und Herbert Kitzel. In der Folgezeit erhielt er zahlreiche Kunstpreise und wirkte als Dozent für Malerei, u. a. an der Städelschule Frankfurt und der Kunstakademie in Düsseldorf. Sein überwiegend gegenständliches Werk ist durch eine freie Behandlung der Form und des Duktus geprägt. (9917261) (18)
