Bedri Rahmi Eyüboglu studierte 1929 - 1931 Malerei an der Akademie der Künste in Istanbul, anschließend folgte ein Studienaufenthalt in Frankreich, u. a. bei André Lhote in Paris. Neben seiner späteren Tätigkeit an der Istanbuler Akademie beschäftigte sich Bedri Rahmi auch mit der Kunst am Bau und konzentrierte sich hier auf Mosaiken und Glasfenster, die neben anderen Projekten auch in der tükischen Botschaft in Bonn zu sehen sind.
