Aus der Vorzugsausgabe der Folge "Alpha og Omega". Munch schuf 1908 - 1909 während seines Klinikaufenthalts bei Dr. Jacobsen in Kopenhagen eine Reihe von 18 Zeichnungen in Lithokreide, die er bei der Dansk Reproduktionsanstalt auf Lithosteine übertragen und drucken ließ. Die Folge erschien als Mappenwerk in der Vorzugsausgabe von 15 Exemplaren auf Japan und 60 Abzügen für die einfache Ausgabe auf festem Velin.
Außenrand gering gebräunt, verso an den oberen Ecken geringe Ausdünnungen durch gelöste Montierung. Insgesamt von guter Erhaltung.

A deeply black impression of the only state

From the deluxe edition of the series 'Alpha og Omega'. In the years 1908-09 during his stay in Dr. Jacobson's clinic in Copenhagen Munch created a series of 18 drawings, executed in lithographic crayon, which were transferred to lithographic stones and printed at Dansk Reproduktionsanstalt. The series was published as a portfolio, 15 copies of the deluxe edition were printed on Japan, 60 copies on wove paper for the normal edition. Outer margins with pale time staining, corners verso with faint skinning due to former mount.
