Nürnberger Bibel von 1527 (Biblia Latina)
"Biblia sacra utriusque testamenti, ... utitur ecclesia ...". Nürnberg. Gedruckt bei Johannes Petraeu, 1527. Oktav, Titel mit Holzschnitzbordüre von Hans Seebald Beham. Blätter ungezählt, erste Ausgabe der Vulgata. Die Titelbordüre von Beham zeigt oben Christus auf dem Regenbogen sitzend, neben ihm die Apostel mit Schüsseln in den Händen. Links in der Ecke empfängt Moses die Gesetzestafeln. Seitlich jeweils Symbole der vier Evangelisten, darunter Paulus, neben ihm 11 Gelehrte. Blind geprägter Schweinslederband der Zeit auf Holzdeckeln mit einer Schließe. Zahlreiche Holzschnittinitialen. (9601727)
