Auf vier Kugelfüßen. Die rechteckige, flache Dose gestreift in Elfenbein und schwarzem Holz. Darauf in Elfenbein Schnitzerei des Löwendenkmals von Luzern, das 1821 nach einem Entwurf von Bertel Thorvaldsen gefertigt wurde. Der tödlich verwundete Löwe auf den Waffen liegend ist eine Allegorie auf die beim Sturm auf die Tuilerien 1792 gefallenen Schweizergardisten. (931531)
