Majolika-Gewürzständer aus Urbino, Ende 16. Jahrhundert

Auf vier Klauenfüßen stehender, konkav gearbeiteter Ständer mit vier Schälchen in Muschelform und einem zentralen, großen Schälchen mit dem behelmten Kopf eines römischen Kriegers. Die Seiten dekoriert mit unterschiedlichen Engelsmotiven. Akanthusblätter in Grün. Kleine Besch. und Rest. insbesondere an den vier Muschelschälchen. (881987)

Standing on four clawed feet, the concave worked display has four small bowls in shell form and a central large bowl with the helmeted head of a Roman warrior. The sides are decorated with different angel motifs. Acanthus leaves in green.

Condition:
Small damages and restorations particularly in the four shell bowls.
