Apollo entschwindet mit seinem Feuerwagen in die Wolken. Die mythologische Szenerie nicht vollkommen eindeutig zu klären. Rechts im Bild auf einem Uferfelsen nackte, weibliche Gestalt, die über den Abzug Apollos trauert, der links mit seinem von zwei Schimmeln gezogenen Feuerwagen in den Wolken entschwindet. Darunter auf den Wellen Darstellung der Drei Grazien. Im Vordergrund ein Okeanide mit Perlmuttmuschel sowie ein Putto. Der Amorputto mit gesenkter Fackel im Schoß der Rhoio (?), der Gebliebten Apollos. (881492)
