Vier Blüten in Blau, Fuchsia und Rosa auf grasgrünem Hintergrund. Die Inspiration zu Warhols „Flowers“ lieferte ein Farbfoto von Hibiskusblüten, 1964 aufgenommen von Patricia Caulfield für die Juni-Ausgabe des Magazins Modern Photography.

Four flower blossoms in blue, fuchsia and rose on a grass-green background. Warhol’s „Flowers“ were based on a colour photograph of hisbiscus blossoms taken by Patricia Caulfield which appeared in the June 1964 issue of Modern Photography magazine.
