Links unten signiert "IO.nis Ba...Seri.us F.", zieht unter dem Ärmelkleid der Dargestellten durch, gemalt auf einen Steinsockel, auf den der rechte Ellbogen der Dargestellten aufgestützt ist.
Im Halbbildnis vor einer links stehenden, kannelierten Säule wiedergegeben. Der blond-braun gelockte jugendliche Kopf nach oben gerichtet, hinterfangen von einer hellen Nimbusscheibe. In der linken Hand hält sie eine Märtyrerpalme an die Brust, die rechte Hand rafft ein rosafarbenes Umhangtuch an die Hüfte, das blaue Kleid durch einen goldenen Miedergürtel mit zentraler Muschel gebunden. Rechts oben zwei geflügelte Engelsköpfe in Wolken.
Anmerkung:
Die Mehrzahl der Werke des Malers sind unsigniert und stilistisch nur schwer zuweisbar, wobei Werke seiner Hand äußerst selten anzutreffen sind. Lediglich in kirchlichem Besitz römischer und napoletanischer Kirchengemeinden. Dagegen ist das vorliegende Bild links unten signiert. (760994)
