Die thematische Bildauffassung des "Fensterbildes" aus der holländischen Maltradition des Gerrit Dou übernommen, hier im 19. Jahrhundert ins historistische Sujet übersetzt. Beide Figuren in reicher höfischer Kleidung vor einem vergoldeten Lederparavent an der Brüstung eines Steinrundbogenfensters mit vorgehängtem Kaschmirschal, der die Hälfte eines antiken Puttenreliefs überdeckt. Seitlich in Stein gehauene Dekorationen mit Nereidenfiguren. (801258)
