Die Sammlungstradition überliefert den Heiligen Jakobus als den Dargestellten der Büste. Kopf leicht zur Seite gewandt. Die Augenlider betont gestaltet, schlanker Nasenrücken und leicht wissend lächelndes Gesicht mit kurzen Bartlocken. Das Gesicht gerahmt von kräftig modelliertem Lockenhaar. Über dem faltig wiedergegebenen Kleid ein Manteltuch über die linke Schulter gelegt. Ausführung in Stuckmasse, gefasst und bemalt. Die alte, originale Fassung weitgehend erhalten. Das Kleid in Rot, der Mantel in Dunkelblau, altersbedingt zu Schwarz verfärbt. Schöne Inkarnatfärbung, nur partiell abgerieben. Am Kopfoberteil kleine Öffnung (ehemals eingebrachter Nimbus).
