Die Jagdgöttin im Halbakt mit Monddiadem unter Bäumen und einem ausgebreiteten, grünen Velum auf einem Stein thronend, mit dem Zeigefinger nach links auf einen gefesselten Satyr weisend, der links im Bild von Amoretten für seine Neugierde bestraft wird. Die vielfigurige Szenerie zeigt unter Bäumen lagernde Nymphen und das Jagdgefolge der Göttin mit Hunden und Jagdgerät. Im Hintergrund Ruinenarchitektur, über die eine von musizierenden Putten besetzte Wolke herabschwebt, Blick auf eine weite Flusslandschaft bis zum Horizont. Links im Vordergrund ein auf dem Boden kniendes Mädchen, das eine Rute bündelt, um den Satyr zu züchtigen. Äußerst delikate Malweise. (760192)
