Ganz in der Stilistik der Feinmalerei des Münchner Klassizismus gehaltenes Landschaftsbild, das eine auf einer bergigen Anhöhe stehende Häusergruppe mit Kirche, Burgturm, Bauernhäusern und Scheunen zeigt; im Vordergrund ein rauschender Gebirgsbach, der aus den Bergen von links hinten herabfließt, davor auf einem Hohlweg ein junger Mann mit Hut und Stock, der ein Maultier treibt. Die Gebäude wirkungsvoll im Gewitterlicht wiedergegeben, der hohe Wolkenhimmel rechts blau durchscheinend, links aufziehende Regenwolken. (740744)
