Ölbozzetto für ein größerformatiges Altarbild. Oben Maria im Strahlenkranz auf einer Wolkenbank stehend, den Fuß auf die Mondsichel gestellt. Darunter großformatig im Vordergrund der Heilige Franziskus. Am linken Bildrand ein römischer Kaiser, wohl Konstantin der Große. Im Zentrum einer der vier Kirchenlehrer, hier wohl Augustinus, mit Bischofstab und Mitra sowie am rechten Bildrand der Heilige Johannes Baptist, der den Fingerzeig nach oben richtet, dahinter eine weitere männliche Figur. Virtuose, hoch qualitätvolle Bozzettomalerei, passige Einfassung in brauner Ölfarbe, den Umrissen des geplanten Altarbildes folgend. (7304513)
