Brustbildnis. Die dargestellte Dame im leuchtend grünlich-gelben Kleid mit weißem Kragen und der Zeit entsprechend hochgesteckter Frisur. Die Körperhaltung in expressionistisch-dynamischer Auffassung wiedergegeben.
Rückseitig Etikett mit ehemaliger Besitzangabe: "Mathilde Braun, München 25, Hauffstraße 5". Hier ist darauf hinzuweisen, dass im Datierungsjahr 1937 der Künstler bereits Malverbot hatte, da er in der nationalsozialistischen Zeit zu den "entarteten" Künstlern gerechnet wurde, was für diesen Privatauftrag offenbar nicht von Bedeutung war.
