Die schöne Liebesgöttin, nur mit einem Badetuch
bekleidet am Ufer eines Flusslaufs vor dem Hintergrund einer romantischen Waldlandschaft. Ihr zur Seite sitzend eine junge, schwarzhaarige Nymphe,
die sie mit einer Handgeste zum Bade einlädt. Im Hintergrund zwischen Blättern aufscheinend ein Wasserfall, darüber ein Venus-Rundtempel, nach Vorbild des Tempels bei Tivoli. Großformatiges Kunstausstellungsbild entstanden in Rom 1864.

Rechts unten signiert, ortsbezeichnet “Roma“
