Eduard Magnus 1799 Berlin - 1872 Rom
PORTRAIT DER MATHILDE GRÄFIN ZU LYNAR GEB. GRÄFIN VOSS-Giewitz (1803-1838)
Die Dargestellte war Urenkelin der Oberhofmeisterin der Königin Louise-Marie, Gräfin von Voss. Im Kniestück dargestellt auf einem Lehnsessel mit rotem Überwurf sitzend, in aubergine-farbenen Samtkleid. Im Hintergrund Landschaft mit viollet-blauem Firmament. Der Kopf neigt nach links gewandt im Dreiviertel-Portrait, die Haare mittelgescheitelt mit hochgebundenen Zöpfen und einem Stirnreif in Gold mit Perle. Ohrgehänge mit tropfenförmiger Perle. Am Miederansatz eine große Gemmenbrosche, in der Hand hält sie ein Seidentuch. Verso Aufkleber mit Besitzbezeichung der gräflichen Familie von Lynar.
Öl/Malkarton, 47,5 x 37,5,
Im originalen, geschnitzten und vergoldeten Rahmen, um 1837.
