PAAR KLEINE RUINENLANDSCHAFTEN Als Gegenstücke gemalte antike Ruinenlandschaften in fantasievoller Zusammenstellung: linkes Bild zeigt einen Ruin an einem Fassadentempel mit kannelierten ionischen Säulen, am Brunnen ein Schimmelreiter mit Schafen, rechts am Bildrand Sockel mit antiker Steinvase und Architekturtrümmern. Im Hintergrund Meeresbucht unter bewegten Wolken. Das Gegenstück zeigt eine dreisäulige Tempelfassade nach dem Vorbildes Jupiter-Tempels im Forum von Rom. Im zentralen Hintergrund Pyramide in Art der Cestiuspyramide in Rom. Am linken Bildrand weibliche antike Figur auf hohem Sockel. Im Zentrum ein Paar stehend, in die Ferne weisend auf abziehende Hirten mit Eseln und Vieh. Eines der Bilder am Steinsockel sign. Öl/ Holz. Je 11 x 13,5 cm. (552321)
