HIRTE BEI DEN MUSEN Mytologische Darstellung in wolkiger Landschaft. Rechts drei auf einem Felsen sitzende Musen mit einem Buch der Poesie bzw. des Gesanges, eine weitere Muse stehend mit entblößtem Oberkörper. Am Boden vor den jungen Mädchengestalten ein Flöte blasender Hirt mit Efeukranz, den Worten der Musen lauschend. Links am Bildrand eine stehende Ziege und ein liegendes Schaf unter wolkigem Himmel. Der Malstil weist deutlich den Einfluss der flämischen Malschule nach Rubens und Jordaens auf. Restaurierungsbedürftig. Öl/Lwd. 130 x 178 cm. (5404127)
