DER CELLOSPIELER Auf einem Lehnstuhl sitzender Musikant mit Backenbart und Federbarrett, ist dabei, auf einem gambengroßen Cello zu spielen, das er zwischen den Knien hält. Das bärtige Gesicht blickt lächelnd dem Betrachter entgegen, der Hintergrund durchgehend einheitlich in Türkis-Grau wiedergegeben, was der Figur eine größere plastische Prägnanz verleiht. Bei dem Maler des Bildes ist an einen flämischen, in Italien geschulten Künstler zu denken, der überwiegend in der Lombardei gewirkt hat. Öl/Lwd. 22,5 x 92 cm. (5412610)
