Gefertigt für Sophie-Charlotte - als Königin von Bayern. Bekanntlich war Sophie-Charlotte Prinzessin von Bayern mit Ludwig II. König von Bayern kurzfristig verlobt, die Ehe kam nicht zu Stande. In Vorbereitung darauf wurden mehrere Gegenstände und Kunsthandwerke gefertigt, so dieses Taschentuch, das bereits die Königskrone trägt. Feine Klöppelarbeit, quadratisches Tuch mit abgerundeten Ecken, in einer Ecke das Monogramm mit Königskrone. Auf einer Photographie der Prinzessin im Rahmen aufgelegt.
