KÖNIG DAVID MIT DER HARFE IN EINEM TEMPELARTIGEN PALASTGEBÄUDE Die Wirkung des Bildes überwiegt mit der Darstellung der Architektur. Im Zentrum Säulenhalle mit Rundsäulen und ionischen Kapitellen mit Blick auf das im Hintergrund stehende zentrale Heiligtum: Die Bundeslade davor. Zwischen den Säulen auf einem Lehnstuhl König David mit der Harfe sitzend. Seitlich Anbauten mit Figurennischen und einigen stehenden und einer sitzenden Person. Die Anbauten flankiert von Säulen, bekrönt durch eine Balustrade mit Balustradenfiguren. In den Figurennischen sind die Figuren von Moses und Aron erkennbar. Auf der Balustrade weitere Personen des alten Testaments. Öl/Lwd. 76 x 99 cm. (532385)
