PRÄSENTATION DES KREUZES Ein stehender, geflügelter Engel mit großen Schwingen überreicht dem Jesuskind in Vorschau des zukünftigen Heilsgeschehens das Kreuz. Das Kind sitzt auf dem Schoß der Mutter, die erschreckt zurückweicht. Die Figurengruppe an einen Säulenstumpf gelehnt, aus dem mehrere Bäume emporwachsen. Links am Boden unterhalb der Füße des Engels Grasnarbe mit umgestürtztem Säulenkapitell. Das teilweise vollplastisch gearbeitete Reliefbildwerk auf Ebenholzrückplatte, von Eichenplatte unterfangen. In ebonisiertem Quastenrahmen. Sichtmaß: 24 x 19 cm. Außenmaß: 40 x 35,5 cm. 17. Jhdt. (440512)
