Prächtig gestalteter Briefbeschwerer
In Marmor, Silber, mit einer im Oberteil eingelassenen Kamee. Der Sockel in rotbraunem, feingeädertem seltenem Marmor. Rechteckig, mit hochziehender Hohlkehle, darin Silbermontierungen mit durchbrochen gearbeitetem floralem Dekor. An einer Ecke ein Eros, mit ausgebreiteten Flügeln sitzend, in Vollguss, vollplastisch gearbeitet, in der Hand hält er ein Liktorenbeil. Die Oberseite besetzt mit einer in Vergoldung eingefassten Kamee, darauf das Kopfbild eines Bacchus mit Weinblattkranz und Weintrauben. 17 x 12 cm. Silbermarken, Lyon, Thomas-Josef Armand-Calliat.
