Im Meditationssitz dargestellter Buddha, dessen Hände zur bodhiyagrimudra geformt sind, wobei er mit der linken Hand den Zeigefinger der rechten Hand umfasst. Vor ihm liegt eine Vajra. Er trägt ein Gewand, das seine rechte Schulter unbedeckt lässt. Doppelter Lotosthronsockel. Feuervergoldete Bronze. H. 24,8 cm. Mongolei, Ende 18. Jhdt. Anmerkung: Vairocana gilt als zentrale Gottheit im Mandala des Kosmos und als Anführer der fünf Tathagatas. Der Adhibuddha versinnbildlicht das Urbewusstsein.
