ATTACKE DER OSMANISCHERN REITER In einer weiten, im Hintergrund leicht hügeligen Landschaft mit Burgturm sprengt ein Trupp berittener osmanischer Kämpfer mit grüner Fahne und Halbmond durch die seichte Wasserfurt. Zwei Reiter sind vorausgeeilt. Links im Hintergrund Gewehrfeuer oder Kanonendampf und die Reihe der feindlichen Krieger. Rechts hinten zwei nachziehende Reiter, die in die Furt einziehen. Helles, lichtvolles Stimmungsbild der bewegten Kampfesszene. Die für den Maler typische Qualität der bewegten Pferdedarstellungen und mutiger Einsatz von leuchtenden Farben wie hier einem kräfigem Schattenblau und aufspritzendem Weiß in den Partien der Wasserfurt.
