Als Tondo gestaltetes Gemälde die sitzenden Armor und Psyche im Bildzentrum zeigend. Amor, welcher Psyche ob ihrer Schönheit von Venus gesandt war, um sie zu strafen, verliebt sich in diese. Da sie ihn nie sehen durfte, brachte Amor sie an einen dunklen Ort. Als sie eine Lampe nutzte um ihn zu erkennen, erwachte dieser und floh. Venus ließ Psyche in einen todesähnlichen Schlaf fallen, aus welchem sie erst durch den Kuss Amors erwachte. (1370573) (13)
